Airport train station guide

Pisa Airport, also known as Galileo Galilei, is only 2km away from Pisa city centre in the Italian region of Tuscany. The airport has its own train station, 40m from the Passenger Terminal, with frequent departures to Pisa Central Station, just 5 mins way.

Transport and connections

The Pisa Airport train station is easily accessible from the single terminal building through a covered walkway, just outside the Check-in area. From here, passengers can board trains to Pisa Central Train Station, where there are frequent Trenitalia and Italo trains to most major Italian cities, including Florence (1 hr), Genoa (2 hrs 2 mins), Rome (2 hrs 53 mins) and Milan (3 hrs 18 mins).

Pisa Airport also provides a regular bus service to and from popular Tuscan cities such as Florence, Siena, Viareggio, and Livorno.

Taxi stands are located in front of the terminal exit.

The Car Rentals area is directly connected to the airport by a shuttle bus service, which is located just outside the airport arrivals area.
