Edinburgh Haymarket railway station is Edinburgh’s second largest station after Waverley (the main station). It is a major commuter and long-distance railway station. Trains from the station serve mostly the west of Scotland and the north of Edinburgh.
The distance between the Edinburgh Haymarket and Edinburgh Waverley stations is just over a mile and a half, or about 5 minutes by rail. The Edinburgh Haymarket is approximately 8 minutes’ walk from the Edinburgh International conference center. The Haymarket station has four platforms and the station itself has many facilities for the comfort of commuters. The Airlink 100 bus is available outside the station for travelers who wish to connect to Edinburgh Turnhouse Airport. Travelers can use the Lothian Bus to reach the city center.
