Airport train station guide

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, also known as Roissy Airport, is located 23km north of Paris. It is the largest international airport in France and the second busiest airport in Europe. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport has its own train station located between Terminals 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F. Travellers can enjoy unlimited free wifi at Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Transport and connections

Please note, we do not sell tickets from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, or from any other French airport, to its nearby city centre. These train tickets need to be bought locally.

The SNCF train station at Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is served by TGV South, West and North lines with connections to the Thalys network and SNCF mainline services. It provides both international train services and local RER trains into central Paris.

The airport train station is served by the free CDGVAL shuttle train (from Terminals 1 and 3).

To get from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport train station to central Paris, take RER Line B, going in the direction of Paris (Robinson, Antony, St-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse) then get off at either Paris-Châtelet or Saint-Michel where you can connect with Paris' metro network. The RER Line B train also goes to Paris Gare du Nord, with a journey time of about 25 mins.

From Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport train station, travellers can also catch trains to many other popular cities in France, including Marseille (3 hrs 55 mins), Lille (51 mins), Strasbourg (1 hr 49 mins) and Lyon (2 hrs 2 mins). There are also direct international trains from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport train station to Brussels (1 hr 36 mins).

Taxis are available outside the airport terminals.
