Lisbon’s Santa Apolonia station (Lisboa Santa Apolonia) opened in 1865 and is the oldest railway terminal in Lisbon. Situated on the bank of the Tagus River in the historical district of Alfama of Lisbon, this station is the starting point for most international trains, and where they end their journeys in the Portuguese capital.
