Overview
As of 01 October 2023, Thalys and Eurostar have joined forces!
With the ambition to carry 30 million passengers a year by 2030, the network will create the backbone of European train travel. All of the high-speed routes you love—from Paris to Amsterdam, Brussels and Cologne— are now under a single brand name: Eurostar. Eurostar’s new starburst logo was inspired by the Etoile du Nord, the first train service connecting Brussels, Paris and Amsterdam. You’ll see the starburst on both the blue and red trains!
Experience the same fast, reliable service (speeds of up to 300 km/h), bold red trains, and competitive pricing now with even easier connections to the wider Eurostar network. For a comprehensive overview the complete network (pictured below, including former Thalys), please visit our Eurostar page.
Travel times are relatively short when travelling on Thalys trains, making it the perfect choice for hopping between France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. With frequent services – up to 23 daily returns between Paris and Brussels alone – it’s easy to plan a full adventure itinerary with Thalys.
*Our Thalys train page will remain active during the transition for informational purposes. The information below concerns trains formerly run by Thalys ONLY (between Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Germany), now run by Eurostar.
Direct trains run year-round from Paris to Brussels and a dozen other stations in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Rhine-Ruhr area of Germany. Additional services speed from Amsterdam and Brussels and seasonally to the French Alps and Provence.
Using single-decker TGV INOUI-style trains, these routes appeal to the international business and leisure markets.

Snow trains run from December to April and offer connections to some of the most beautiful ski resorts in France. Sun trains run during July and August, offering connections to the south of France.
