The Grenoble railway station is located in the city center, serving as a major hub for Grenoble’s 400,000 inhabitants and an equally large number of travelers. Along with the Annecy train station, Grenoble is one of the primary train stations in the Rhone-Alpes region of France.

The station is connected to the high-speed TGV network, with frequent trains running to and from Paris, and it’s also served by regional TER trains. Popular trips to and from Grenoble include Annecy, Paris, and Lyon.
