What is the Frecciabianca train?
Travelling up to 200 km/h, Frecciabianca trains are considered a medium-speed train in Italy’s vast railway network. Even better, these trains connect large and small communities all across the country, which makes them a top choice for international visitors and locals alike.
Despite having a more traditional rolling stock than other high-speed train options, Frecciabianca train carriages underwent a massive refurbishment in recent years, updating their previously old-school compartment with fresh, modern furniture and amenities to provide more comfort for less to guests from all around the world.
Operated by Trenitalia
Previously owned by Eurostar Italia, Frecciabianca is now operated by elite high-speed train provider Trenitalia, and the company has been dedicated to upgrading these trains for modern guests.
On that note, Frecciabianca is just one of Trenitalia’s popular trains, alongside their Frecciargento and Frecciarossa models. While the Frecciabianca train is technically considered the most accessible option in their lineup, we think you’ll be amazed at the top-notch experience these affordable trains have to offer.
