Getting to Bruxelles

Station / Airport guide

The airport train station (Brussels NAT Airport railway station or Brussel-Nat-Luchthaven) is located below the terminal (basement level-1). There are up to 4 trains an hour connecting the airport to Brussels North, Brussels Central and Brussels Midi train stations.

Direct train service to the east, south and west of Belgium are also available directly from the airport train station.

Travelers need to buy a special ticket if they want to reach Brussels city center from Brussels NAT Airport railway station. Normal metro tickets are not valid for travel on the Airport Line (train line) between the airport and Brussels.

In and around the station, travelers can take the airport line bus (MIVB/STIB), which is a 30-minute express service between the Brussels Airport and the European quarter in Brussels. The buses depart from platform C.

Transportation and connections

Local trains & subway: The link to Brussels city has at least 3 trains per hour. There is also a direct train to Paris once a day with Thalys.
Buses: The bus company De Lijn has regular services between Brussels Airport and Brussels. The bus station is located on the level 0. Bus company De Lijn operates express bus services to railway station Brussels North (line 471) and the Brussels underground station Roodebeek (line 659).
Taxis: Available outside the station.
Airport: The Brussels NAT Airport railway station is found below the Brussels-Zaventem Airport.
