Eurostar trains from Brussels to London depart from Brussels Midi station. You need to check in for your train about 45 minutes prior to departure. There are light-touch security checks, including a scan of all baggage, at Midi station. The Eurostar route runs west from Brussels, crossing the French border to reach Lille, where all Eurostar trains stop. Then it is a fast dash through Flanders to the Channel Tunnel. Emerging from the Channel Tunnel in Kent, the train cruises through gentle downland, bridging the Medway and then diving under the Thames to reach St Pancras Station in London.
