It is a very easy journey by train from Geneva Airport to Brig. All trains on this route stop at the city centre station in Geneva ten minutes after leaving the airport. Direct trains from Geneva Airport to Brig leave from the main airport railway station which is underground; it is well signed from the main terminal building. The route is served by Swiss InterRegio trains, making 11 to 14 intermediate stops along the way.
This is a magnificent journey for sightseeing. On a good day, you’ll have great views across Lake Geneva to the Alps beyond. There is an especially lovely stretch east of Lausanne as the railway cuts through the Lavaux vineyards. Just after Montreux you’ll see the famous Château de Chillon on the lakeshore to your right and then the train follows the broad valley of the River Rhône up through Valais vineyards and fruit orchards to Brig.
