AVE/Alvia/Regional Train
Trains run frequently from Barcelona to Zaragoza. Indeed, this is one of Spain's densest rail routes. The principal cities of Catalonia and Aragon have enjoyed close cultural and commercial links for centuries. Now, thanks to Spain's investment in high-speed rail. Most passengers opt for the fast AVE trains on this route. The Alvia services are a bit slower. There are also occasional slow regional train services which make many stops along the way.
Barcelona to Zaragoza-Delicias

This route is served by high-speed AVE services, by AVE trains which make a stop or two along the way and by Alvia trains. Expect lots of tunnels, glimpses of distant hills and, on the approach to Zaragoza, some fine views of the Ebro Valley. All trains to Zaragoza depart from Barcelona Sants station and arrive at Zaragoza Delicias. If it all sounds a bit too fast for you, there are also slow regional trains linking the two cities.
