Overview

Italian rail operator Thello runs a comfortable, reliable daytime EuroCity service between Marseille and Milan, travelling along the gorgeous French and Italian Riviera, stopping at many of the most popular Riviera resorts en route. At the port city of Genoa, where grit meets grandeur in effortless style, the train turns inland towards the Milan, Italy's financial and fashion capital. This is currently the only route served by Thello during the day. The same company is also known for its excellent overnight EuroNight services which run from Paris to various notable north Italian cities, including Milan, Venice and Verona.
The Thello EuroCity services from Marseille via Nice and Genoa to Milan use Thello-branded Frecciabianca trains, which are part of Trenitalia's sleek, stylish and always comfortable long-distance Frecce fleet.
