How do I retrieve my print at the station e-tickets at the German train stations?

You can retrieve your DeutscheBahn open ticket(s) and reservation ticket(s) at any self-service kiosk available at a local German Train station.

Arrive at the train station at least 30 minutes prior to your departure time to allow enough time to print your tickets and board your train.

You only need the e-ticket confirmation code/PNR to retrieve your tickets, please note this is different from the booking number.

No names or credit cards are required to retrieve the tickets.

Tickets can only be retrieved at a DB kiosk at station in Germany. They cannot be retrieved at the ticket counter, or at stations outside of Germany.

If you purchased reservation ticket(s), be sure you have collected open tickets (open ticket is printed after the reservation).

Please follow these simple steps at the self‐service kiosk:

 

 

 

  • For English, click on the UK flag located on the bottom of the screen. If retrieving from a kiosk at a Regional‐Station (S‐Bahn) (example: Frankfurt Airport), please click on the "DB BAHN" button.

 

 

  • If retrieving from a kiosk issuing mainly long‐ distance tickets, or after selecting "DB" from a regional kiosk, select "All Offers" to get to the correct prompts to retrieve your ticket.

 
 
  • On the "Please select from All offers" page, press "Pre‐booked tickets – Bahn Tix."
 
 
 
  • On the "Please select an offer" page, press "Collection of prebooked tickets – Bahn Tix."
 
 
 
  • On the following screen, select "Identification with order code." .
 
 
 
  • Enter your e‐ticket confirmation code or PNR, 6‐9 digits unique to your trip. The code is in the email confirmation you receive from Rail Europe. If you’ve registered on the Rail Europe website, you can find your e-ticket code on the My Account page under your Itinerary.
 
 
  • Select the ticket you would like to print.
 
 
 
  • Select "Print Now" and retrieve the ticket(s).
 
 
 
  • If you purchased reservation ticket, be sure you have collected open tickets AND reservation (ticket is printed after the reservation).NOTE: it takes about 10 seconds between the different print jobs, a green check mark will appear once the ticket or reservation has been printed. Number of printed documents will display on this screen, please be sure to count and check you have received all documents before walking away from machine. Once you have retrieved all your documents you have completed the process.
