Ventimiglia Train Stations
From ornate architecture to statues, monuments & art, these are a few things you may find in the train station you depart from. Departure signs display track and platform information for upcoming train departures, this helps you to easily find your train. Some European stations offer coffee shops & vending machines to help curb your snack attacks, while others acutally have fast food restaurants and or/sit down eateries. Restrooms can usually be found in train stations in Europe, just be prepared to pay to use the facilities, many have a nominal fee (keep some change handy - just in case!). Most train stations in Europe have a ticket counter and/or information booth that you can visit if you should have any questions before you depart. For the most part, the staff at the station are able to communicate in English, so don't be intimidated to approach them if you need assistance.
The Nice Train Station (Gare de Nice-Ville) was originally built away from the city center, however the modern city has populated around the station making it part of the town center. The station building can be found in its original condition. Richly decorated balconies and a grand clock are a few of the noticeable attributes of the impressive Nice train station.
