One of the most iconic sights to see in this city is the Jet d'Eau - the amazing water jet found in the middle of Lake Geneva. Originally this stream was not set up to be a fountain, rather to release pressure from a nearby hydraulic plant. It didn't take long for locals and visitors to gather to look at the water jet and it was decided to move it to the center of the lake and it became a symbol of the city. You can walk around the lake to see all different angles of the fountain - it makes for a lovely afternoon! Other notable sights to see include the Reformation Wall and the Old Town.
