The underground Piccadily line allows you to easily reach St Pancras station for connections to the major European cities like Brussels, Paris and Lille using the Eurostar.
An extensive local bus network provides a low-cost route between Heathrow and several towns in west London.
- * Terminals 1 and 3 are within walking distance of each other, through underground walkways.
- * Transfer between Terminals 1, 3, 4 and 5 is free of charge with the Heathrow Express (travel time from 8 to 12 minutes).
- * For Terminal 4, there’s a free shuttle train from Heathrow Central.
Heathrow Central railway station is connected to Paddington Train Station, downtown London, by the Heathrow Express, with a travel time of only 15 minutes from terminals 1-3, and 23 minutes from terminal 4.
Heathrow Express trains stop at Heathrow Central (for Terminals 1 and 3) and Heathrow Terminal 5. Passengers travelling to Terminal 4 should change and catch the Heathrow Express shuttle at Heathrow Central.
Car rental counters are located in each Terminal of the airport.
London taxis stop at the taxi ranks outside all Heathrow terminals. The journey to central London usually takes between 30 minutes to one hour.
