What’s new?

  • More places

In addition to a new contemporary look, we have a state-of-the-art booking engine. So, as well as having real-time connections with all the train companies we partner with, we have a much wider inventory of places you can book to visit. We cover much more of Great Britain than before and have more night trains too. Edinburgh to Rome in 24 hours? Let us show you the way. We will also sell rail passes soon.

  • More mobile

We have an app now too, for Android and iOS, and we hope you love it as much as we do. As well as being able to buy UK and European tickets on it, you can view your purchases offline, as long as you opt to do so when you purchase them. Our new technology means you also have access to many more mobile tickets. You can just get a barcode on your phone or other devices for many of our tickets. It’s always a good thing to say goodbye to paper. Download here for iOS / Android

  • More savings

For travel in Great Britain we now offer Pricehack fares. This is our name for split ticketing, a system which is quite unique to Great Britain. In short, this is a train journey fare splitter technology which gets the best possible price for each leg of your journey. This can sometimes mean getting up to 50% off a normal fare, but without any extra work on your part. We do the hacking for you. Another new best of British feature is that there are no booking fees on train travel there.

Other fresh features

  • More choice

When you do a journey search, you can now see many more options. In the past, we have shown you the cheapest travel options, but now you can see a much wider array of classes and routes. Think of it as our shop window having gone from petite to panoramic.

  • More independence

If your plans have changed you can now exchange many of our tickets or request a refund yourself, via your account. Just follow our tutorial. Our customer support team is always here to help too of course but we have made it very easy to just click, chop and change.

  • More buses

You have more facilities for bus travel now which is often a great option for those travelling on a budget. Top routes for bus travel include London to Paris, Paris to Barcelona and several excellent services within Spain, such as Granada to Seville, Madrid to Granada or Seville to Cordoba. Just make sure you tick the box ‘More bus options’ on our journey search facility.
