Naples Central train station was completed in the late 1960’s. The station is located in the square dedicated to Giuseppe Garibaldi. This Naples station serves as the main departure station for Naples and Southern Italy. The lower level of the station includes the Piazza Garibaldi and Circumvesuviana annexes (the latter serving private local trains to Pompei and Sorrento). A terrific station to begin your travels in Naples, or continue your Italian vacation from.
