The Berlin Central Train Station, considered the biggest train station in Europe, opened in 2006. This state-of-the-art station has countless conveniences for travelers including a suspension system for its platforms, greatly reducing vibration and noise. You will find yourself enjoying this station as much as your German train ride.

Transportation and connections

Transportation from the Berlin Central Train Station to the Berlin Tegel airport:

The express buses X7 and X11 connect BER and U-Bahn Rudow, the underground line U7, every five minutes
The TXL JetExpressBus runs every ten minutes from 5:00am-11:00pm from airport. (Approximately 45 minutes ride)
The X9 Express bus to Zoologischer Garten run every ten minutes from 5:00am - 11:00pm. (Approximately 20 minutes ride)
