The journey from London to Rotterdam by train takes just three hours, so air travel now plays second fiddle to rail on this important route. Eurostar launched a direct twice-daily London to Rotterdam service in April 2018, but there are plenty of additional options with just one easy change of train at either Lille Europe or Brussels Midi, in each case normally continuing to Rotterdam with a high-speed Thalys train (or, in the case of connections through Brussels, sometimes with an Intercity train).
