Airport train station guide

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is located 22km south-west of the Dutch capital. It has a train station at the airport with connections to major stations in the Netherlands as well as plenty of other European cities: NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen – Dutch Railways) operate intercity and high-speed trains from Schiphol Airport Station. There are also ICE and Thalys trains travelling between here and France, Belgium or Germany. There is free wifi throughout the airport.

Transport and connections

Amsterdam Schiphol train station is located directly below the airport. You can purchase train tickets from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam city centre on our website and it takes around 15 mins.

For other European countries, you can also pick up trains at Schiphol Airport to the likes of Antwerp (about 1 hr), Brussels (about 1.5 hrs) or Paris (about 3 hrs).
