Station guide

Munchen Ost, also known as Munchen Ostbahnhof, is one of the three main railway stations in Munich. There are local trains which operate between Munich Flughafen (airport railway station) and Munich Ostbahnhof with a journey time of about 30 minutes.

The Munchen Ostbahnhof railway station is connected to the tram system, which can be found just outside the station.

Transportation and connections

Local trains & subway: S-Bahn line S2, S4 and S8 to eastern Germany and S5 and S6 to southern Germany.

Airport: S-Bahn lines S1 and S8 run connect the station to the airport.
