Frecciarossa or Frecciargento or Italo
Both NTV Italo and Trenitalia operate on this route, between them offering fast trains. The high-speed route between the two cities initially travels north up the valley of the River Tiber before cutting through the hills to reach the Arno Valley, which it follows down to Florence.
