What to expect aboard Ouigo trains

Ouigo Spain is the high-speed, budget train provider for travellers who simply want to travel between and throughout select cities in Spain without all the frills of other Spanish trains. When we say budget, we recommend that you do not compare the experience with budget airlines. Ouigo offers smaller, less plush seats aboard their double-decker trains, but by no means are they uncomfortable. There are four seats to a row with some of the seats facing each other. There is free Wi-Fi onboard throughout all of the Spain destinations, plus entertainment.

Basic tickets on Ouigo include one personal item and a suitcase that is carry-on size. If you want more space or luggage onboard, you do have options, depending on availability. The Ouigo+fare XL ticket option includes one handbag, one cabin luggage, and one additional XL luggage plus access to premium entertainment and Wi-Fi. It is recommended that you arrive 30 minutes before your train departs and check in using your mobile ticket on your phone.
