Display conditions for rail and bus products

This document describes the conditions for displaying products proposed by the Rail Europe website (the "Website") in the name and on behalf of the railway and bus operators.

  1. Classification of train tickets

    For a given journey, the Website may offer users several options of fares and schedules for tickets from different rail or bus operators. Tickets are displayed according to the departure time.

    No other criteria of classification exists.

  2. Rail carriers

    The Website offers rail products in the name and on behalf of its railway operator partners, through paid distribution mandates.

    These partners include but are not limited to: SNCF, DB, Trenitalia, ITALO, RENFE.

  3. Comparison of the method and frequency of updating rail and bus products

    In order to offer the best deals to its customers, the Website mostly uses real-time reservation databases, with direct access to the reservation systems of each operators. Our search engine acts as a bridge between users and these systems.

Child and youth passengers

The definition of "Child" and "Youth" varies by country and operator. This is why we ask for the age of young passengers.

Sometimes children below a certain age can travel without a seat for free. If you want to guarantee a seat for child passengers, enter '6' as the age of the child.
