A wise man once said, if you’ve never traveled Europe on the Eurostar, you haven’t really traveled Europe. That wise man? Us! But considering that the Eurostar boasts high-speed trains to the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, and the Netherlands, with its most popular route even going underwater, we think you’d agree that this is an experience you simply can’t pass up.

Still not convinced? Well, now through November 27, 2023, you can score tickets on Eurostar starting at just 16€! What's that sound? Oh, it's you zipping your suitcase closed. That's what we thought!

What you need to know before traveling

Booking with these Black Friday deals is a no-brainer, and with the ease of purchasing and attention to detail provided by Eurostar, so is traveling with Eurostar. Here are just a couple of things to keep in mind before hopping aboard.

Frequency of travel

With the main hubs of travel in London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Brussels, you can book travel any day of the week, all year round (excluding Christmas day). Other top locations also run consistently, but we recommend you start booking your travel in advance to ensure you have an optimal itinerary.

Documentation needed to travel

Do you need a passport to travel? Simple answer: yes, but it does depend on the passport you hold. Consider you are traveling across countries and borders, so travel like you would if you were flying internationally.

Getting your ticket

You can either print your ticket at home or at the Eurostar station that you are leaving from using the collection reference in the booking confirmation you received after purchasing your ticket. Note that if you are traveling connecting routes with other carriers, you cannot print those with Eurostar.

When to arrive

Not only will you need to give yourself ample time to print your tickets, but you also need to consider the security measures that you will have to pass through. You will go through border patrol and you must pass your luggage and carry-ons through X-ray security. Sound like airport travel? Not really. You can bring water and even coffee onboard with you to save a few bucks.

Onboard luxuries

And on that note, if you forgot to eat breakfast or spilled your coffee on the way in (don't worry, we've been there too), head to the cafeteria on board for a snack, or even a glass of wine, while you watch the lush landscapes fly by!

Now you are ready to go start planning your next Eurostar getaway without the sweating the price tag! Hurry, because this sale expires the 27th of November.

Child and youth passengers

The definition of "Child" and "Youth" varies by country and operator. This is why we ask for the age of young passengers.

Sometimes children below a certain age can travel without a seat for free. If you want to guarantee a seat for child passengers, enter '6' as the age of the child.
