Overview

Vernon, a charming discovery at the gates of Normandy.

Visit Northwestern France coming in Normandy, in the pleasant city of Vernon. Who would have thought that such a little town would have so much to offer… Whether you like nature or culture, you will like your journey in Vernon.

About France

Among the unavoidable to see in Vernon, start with the Castle of Bizy. Dating back to the 18th century, it is a Historic Monument nicknamed the Norman-french Versailles.

Another Historic Monument that is worth the detour is the Notre Dame collegiate, built between the 11th and the 16th centuries, it’s a gem of the medieval architecture. You also have to see the 16th century mill that is the emblem of the city. Strolling about the Art’s Park, have a glance to the last remain of the old fortress, the Archive Tower.

To have more informations, head the Tourist Office, located in one of the oldest half-timbered house of the city.
