Very educational. Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable and provided insights from her childhood growing up in venice.
For the walking tour portion we had a fantastic guide, Marco, he was easy to understand and answered all questions with out any hesitation, he also had a fabulous personality. Our guide for the boat trip was good, I didn't understand his name however, we explained everything clearly and seemed to enjoy his job. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Great overview of this beautiful city. Did this tour our first day and later went back to some of the highlights. Tour group is very organized, punctual, and has knowledgeable tour guides, would definitely do again.
Amazing Tour, great tour guide, wonderful time
Outstanding, best tour we took on our trip. Very knowledgable guide, friendly and made tour very interesting and fun. We saw parts of Venice that you would never find and was a great way to get a sense of the place and we went back to lots of the places later too. The grand canal cruise was definitely a highlight and must do. Small groups on boats made it perfect.
Very knowledgeable and very comic tour guide is excellent, and the headsets provided in a small group tour was a plus. The water taxi tour was awesome and exhilarating, showcasing the parts of Venice that a tourist seldom sees. This is highly recommended.
Guide was very energetic, professional and very informative about Venice. She made Venice come alive for those of us not from there.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour
Great introduction to Venice by foot and by water taxi on our first trip there. The two sections of the tour are handled by two different but very knowledgeable guides. Break in between two tours allowed time for leisurely lunch and wandering about the city. Guides provided interesting background both were passionate about Venice.
Great tour! Best part was the guided boat tour along the grand canal.
We all enjoyed both tours - but especially the boat tour - Barbara was very knowledgeable, funny and the tour was very interesting and informative, many thanks.
Really good experience!
Tour guide was very knowledgeable - learnt lots about the city - well worth doing!
Excellent morning walking tour, including St Marks Basilica- first we have been on and highly recommended, led by knowledgeable, local guide, Venetian, Marina. She made the subject come alive highly recommend her.
The afternoon boat tour however as not so good. The guide appeared to be tired and rambled in a mix of English and Italian it was supposed to be an English speaking tour.
Our walking tour was excellent. The tour guide, Ariane, was so friendly and informative, and the tour was interesting from an historical point of view, but also informative about the area as it is now, and the best places to visit, restaurants, etc.
The boat trip, was also excellent - there were only 8 of us, with guide, Georgia, in a lovely wooden water taxi. Again, lots to learn, and a different view from the water.
We had never used Viator before, but would definitely use them on any other trips now.
Wonderful guides - great combination of tours with a little time in between.
Both of the tours and guides were wonderful! It was very hot, so being able to skip the line at the Basilica was great. Our guide for the walking tour gave us so much great information. It was nice being able to walk through the narrow streets of Venice and not get lost, as well as learn so much about the city. The tour of the Grand Canal was also excellent. Seeing Venice from the water side was also a treat, and again, we learned so much. Be aware that the boat tour is later in the afternoon, not immediately after the walking tour.
I can't rave enough of this tour. It was AMAZING! My ultimate favorite was the boat tour in the afternoon. It was in a speed boat small groups and it is a good way to see Venice. The boat goes through the narrow canals and you get to see so much more. Definitely much more worth it than taking the gondolas.
Very good introduction for first trip, especially as had not been before. Entertaining local guide.
Our land guide, Andriana, was awesome ! We learned so much as well as getting a close up view of the area. The tour was 2 hrs. and we could have walked much longer. Our boat guide, Georgia, was amazing as well. I would rate this a 5 star tour!
We really enjoyed both tours, the walking and the Grand Canal. Both tour guides were very informative. You really get to take in a lot of the city with this tour. FYI-if you are also doing the Grand Canal tour, it starts a few hours after the walking tour ends.
Great way to see the city in one day!
We found your tour by asking google for the best Venice tour. We were very pleased and wished we would have done this on more sites.
Great tour and guide. A good way to see parts of Venice when you are limited with time. Enjoyed the boat ride with the same guide very informative and 6 people in the boat. The walking tour had more people than we expected 30.
