Cinque Terre Small Group Day Trip from Florence
You'll fall in love with Italy's prettiest coastal villages on a small-group excursion to the Cinque Terre from Florence. You've probably heard of the five famous fishing ports of the Cinque Terre. Now's your chance to visit these picture-postcard villages on a personalized small-group day trip that you'll treasure.
Numbers are limited to eight on this small-group tour, ensuring personalized attention from a guide.
What You Can Expect
Enjoy a full-day tour visiting the beautiful Cinque Terre (the five lands) where a rugged portion of coast on the Italian Riviera is punctuated by picturesque small fishing villages. After driving through Tuscany into Liguria, stop in the first Cinque Terre village of Manarola. Enjoy panoramic views and take spectacular pictures of the land and coast. After a walk through the delightful village, stop at one of the local bars for a glass of wine accompanied by bruschetta.
After your visit to Manarola, meet your tour escort at a prearranged time for your shared boat ride to Vernazza. While on the boat, ogle the dramatic coastline from the water, framed against the hills.
Your second stop is at the village of Vernazza, arguably the most beautiful of the five villages with a large open harbor, castle and church. Enjoy some free time to walk around and have a relaxing lunch (own expense) at one of the open-air restaurants that lines the waterfront, or take a stroll through the back streets for impressive views along the coast.
After your visit to Vernazza, meet your tour escort to drive to Corniglia. Enjoy panoramic views and take spectacular pictures of the land and coast.
Please note: if you take this tour between October 13 and March 31, the boat ride from Riomaggiore does not take place. This is replaced with a coastal train ride.
The Via dell'Amore (Lover's Walk) is currently inaccessible due to a landslide that occurred at the end of September, 2012.
The Coastal footpath is temporarily closed.

We had a great time. While the beginning of February is not warm weather, the benefit is that there were no crowds. Our guide, Adiorno, was great! He drove us to the first town, let us explore on our own, got us on a train, met us at the second town where he had arranged wine and bruschetta. We had plenty of time to explore, take photos, admire the scenery, have a great lunch - and then he picked us up and took us up to the third town and a bonus trip up the mountain to a tiny town.
He was there when we needed him. Let us be by ourselves to explore otherwise which was perfect. We were a very amiable group - 5 of us from 4 countries, three ethnic backgrounds - great conversations, cooperation, humor. A lovely time! Highly recommended!
Reliable, punctual and delivers to expectation. Our driver / guide Jonathan was excellent. He speaks fluid English, was helpful and made sure that all worked out well for us. Well done. Highly recommended
Cinque Terre was amazing to see and visit! We loved our tour guide, Adriano. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient.
Cinque Terra is one of the go see places in Italy. This tour provided a quick look at a good bit of the park and towns.

Adriano was well-organized and a pro at keeping our small group going in the correct direction at the right time. The tour was relaxed, unhurried, picturesque and the perfect introduction to Cinque Terre. Would definitely recommend the services of Adriano if you would enjoy exploring this unique area of Italy and are without your own transportation.

Our guide was very helpful, enabling us to see 4 of the 5 villages during the tour and pointing out the best places to sample the local culinary delights.
It was terrific. Very scenic. My photos look like postcards.
Fantastic experience, we almost decided not to do this tour due to the time commitment as we were only in Florence for 3 nights. Cinque Terre was one of the highlights of our Italy holiday. Tour guide was knowledgeable and genuinely interested in each of his guests. Breathtaking scenery, would absolutely recommend thus one.
Excellent guide/driver and stunning scenery.
Best way to visit the area
stunning and memorable experience
Great tour guide!
Exceptional tour of the Cinque Terre. We only had one day to see the area and this tour was a perfect blend of convenience, information, and relaxation. Adrianno speling? was our guide from Florence and he was fabulous!!!! He had everything timed out and met us when/where he said he would be every time. This tour exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with.
Tour was fabulous! Small group of six was perfect!
Fun way to see the Cinque Terre. Includes a train ride and ferry ride and lots of walking. You get to see 4 of the 5 towns.
Had a wonderful day an took some beautiful pictures. The tour was very organized and our guide was excellent. It was summer and hot so was nice to ride in the large air conditionined Ford van to and from Florence and in between most of the towns when needed. The boat ride was cancelled due to rough waters but the trains and van got us where we needed to go as back up. Don't miss Cinque Terra!
Beautiful countryside - a guide who was informative and kept us on track
This tour was really really lovely! The staff was on time, very friendly and our guide Leonardo did a great job! We saw so many beautilful things without being rushed. It's just brilliant to travel in such a small group. The car Mercedes bus for 8 people was comfortable and clean. Cinque Terre is absolutely gorgeous and well worth a visit! Anytime again! 3
With eventually fine weather and a good group a very enjoyable if long day. Good driver and guide to point out interesting features and ample time to enjoy the villages and have lunch. Highly recpmmended
