White Plains, N.Y., Jan 13, 2011 - Rail Europe Inc., the largest distributor of European rail products in North America, is kicking off the New Year with two Eurail promotions, offering additional savings on 2011 vacations. For a limited time, travelers who purchase a Eurail Select Pass for six, eight or ten days will receive an extra rail travel day for free, allowing them to travel by train for seven, nine or eleven days within a one-month period in the countries covered by the rail pass. The Eurail-Select-Pass-Free-Day promotion is available on Rail Europe’s web site. Promotional fares for a six day, three country Eurail Select Pass start at $413* per person for two people travelling together.
Travelers to Austria can avail of another promotion offering a 15 percent discount on the Eurail Austria Pass. This pass offers affordable and flexible access by train, to the country’s breathtaking cities and sites. Customers can choose up to eight days of 2nd class travel, within a one-month period, on the national rail network of Austria. The Eurail-Austria-Pass-15%-Off promotion is also available on Rail Europe’s website. Promotional fares for the 3-day Eurail Austria Pass start at $113* per person for two people travelling together.
All passes must be purchased from Jan 1 – March 30, 2011. Travel with the Eurail Austria Pass must be completed by June 30, 2011. Travel with the Eurail Select pass must take place within six months of purchase date.
The Eurail Select Pass Free Day and Eurail Austria Pass 15 percent discounts will be applied when travelers select either promotion by name when booking a trip.
