Italy : NTV

Italo is the commercial name of the high speed trains operated by NTV Company (Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori). NTV offers high speed rail services, with a great amount of on board services offered on its trains.

Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV) is the first private operator of high speed trains in Italy. In 2012, Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori (NTV) launched Italo, a modern high speed train. To put it simply, the AGV model trains (a new train model called Automotrice Grande Vitesse) used by NTV are nothing less than the state of the art in high speed railway technology.

NTV’s Italo trains start on the Milan-Naples line with intermediate stops in Italian cities such as Bologna, Florence and Rome. If you are departing or arriving in Milan or Rome, you can choose between 2 train stations in each of the two cities – Milan Porta Garibaldi and Milan Rogoredo in Milan, and Roma Tiburtina and Roma Ostiense in Roma.
