Rail Europe Beefs Up Management Team
White Plains, NY, October 27, 2006 -- Rail Europe has announced 2 appointments: appointed Frederic Langlois Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Distribution, reporting to Fabrice Morel, President and CEO of the Rail Europe Group and Nadia Khris, Director of Group Rail, reporting to Frederic Langlois.
Langlois will oversee all commercial departments at Rail Europe - sales, marketing, product development, group rail sales, e-commerce, and customer relations. In particular, he is responsible for increasing interdepartmental teamwork and cooperation as the company refocuses its efforts on its core rail products. ";We are very excited to have Frederic aboard adding to Rail Europe's already top-notch management team and he's enthusiastic about being here in the U.S.," said Morel.
A 15-year veteran of the travel industry, Langlois worked for the past 5 years in the tour operator business (Maeva and Nouvelles Frontieres) in charge of European, Middle Eastern and African markets. For ten years before that he worked in airline sales and marketing (for UTA and AOM), based in cities throughout Africa, Europe and French overseas territories. While his official education in France centered on the studies of law, he also received a graduate degree in economics majoring in transportation.
Nadia Khris will manage the group rail team at Rail Europe. Recently this department discontinued selling non-rail products to focus on offering group clients exclusive European rail products. Previous to joining Rail Europe, Khris worked for 5 years at SNCF (French National Railways) in Paris managing station personnel and working on sales and strategy. Prior to the French Railways, she started her career marketing consumer products for P&G and Mars Group working in trade sales and market research after graduating from Business School in Bordeaux, France.
