Rail Europe promotes four in Marketing and E-Commerce Zenner, Godzich, Drummond, Bibliowicz

White Plains, NY, March 18, 2004 - Rail Europe Group announces four promotions in the area of marketing and E-commerce: Nico Zenner as Executive Vice President of Rail Marketing; Roman Godzich as Vice President of E-commerce; Cece Drummond as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Sarah Bibliowicz as Director of Rail Marketing.

Nico Zenner joined Rail Europe in 2000 as Vice President of Marketing, overseeing Marketing, Communications and Customer Relations. Previously he served as Director of Marketing, North America, for the Netherlands Board of Tourism, as well as Director Worldwide Distribution at Sabena Airlines. Among his goals in his new position as Executive Vice President of Rail Marketing are adapting the company’s product range to a rapidly changing market and integrating product offerings among the Group’s various entities.

Roman Godzich has been Director of E-business for the Group since August 2000. Prior to joining Rail Europe, he was a founding member of Vstore.com, an ecommerce business that created over 100,000 online stores. He was also President of TotalNEWS, a search engine and news site launched in 1996. Roman manages the online business for the public, travel agents and a multitude of partners, such as Travelocity and Lycos.

Cece Drummond has been with Rail Europe since 1995, managing the Corporate Communications Department. Previously, she was Director of Marketing for Minitel’s US-based online service and held management positions at Mintel Services, Berkey Phote and L’Oréal/Lancôme. She sets her sights on integrating the communications programs and images of the different Rail Europe Group brands, divisions and companies (Avanti Destinations, DER, EuroGroups, EuroVacations, Rail Europe.)

Sarah Bibliowicz began her career at Rail Europe as a marketing intern in 1998 and was subsequently promoted to assistant product manager then product manager. She has also recently been given responsibility for the Fares & Schedules database, among the most frequently used function on Rail Europe’s Web site, www.raileurope.com.
