If I pick up a car in one location and drop it off at a different location, will there be a fee?
There may be airport or rail station pick up fees and drop off fees with the Rail 'n Drive passes. We will advise you of any additional pick up and drop off fees before finalizing your order. Some fees that may apply: Drop fees (picking up in one city and returning the car in another city).
International drop fees (picking up in one country and returning the car in another country) are approximately $50-250 USD/$58-290 CAD.

What car rental company is used with your Rail ‘n Drive products?
All Rail ‘n Drives include Hertz as the car rental. The France Rail ‘n Drives also offer Avis.

How do I reserve my car?
We’ll contact you to find out where and when you want to reserve your car. Then we’ll set up the reservations and finalize your order.

When can I reserve my car?
Either when you place your order or while in Europe. It is best to reserve your car before you depart for Europe to ensure availability for the location and car type you desire.

Do I have to use all my car days in 1 city?
No, you can split up your car rental days in multiple cities. There’s also no minimum of car rental days (except in Spain, where one-way rentals with car drop off require a 3 day minimum. And where one-way rentals with car drop off outside Spain require a 7 day minimum).

How is a car day determined?
A car day is a 24-hour period of time. If you pick up your car at noon on Monday it would need to be returned before noon on Tuesday to count as one day.
