The Fine Print

Offer is subject to change or extension without notice. Valid for bookings made on or before 5:00 PM ET on March 30, 2015. Valid for travel from February 3 to May 31, 2015. All travel must be completed by 11:59 pm May 31, 2015. No adjustments can be made on prior purchases. The German Rail Pass Promotion is non-refundable. The German Rail Pass Promotion can be exchanged only for a regularly priced German Rail Pass of equal or higher value. The German Rail Pass Promotion cannot be exchanged for another promotional rail pass.

  • This pass gives you unlimited travel on the national rail network of Germany.
  • 5 or 10 days rail travel within one month’s time, consecutively or not.
  • Travel on trains and buses operated by DB to the following cities: Antwerp, Brussels, Liege, Copenhagen, Prague, Innsbruck, Krakow, Salzburg, Strasbourg, Zagreb and the Italian cities of Bolzano, Trento, Verona, Bologna and Venice.

Conditions of Use

  • Residents of Europe, the Russian Federation and Turkey are not eligible to purchase or use this rail pass.
  • Rail passes must be activated at the train station by a railway official.
  • Valid for travel from February 3 to May 31, 2015. All travel must be completed by 11:59 pm May 31, 2015.
  • The railway official will write the passport number on your rail pass.
  • The German Rail Pass is not valid for travel on DB Autozug (trains transporting cars), chartered trains, private steam trains, narrow-gauge railways and museum railways.
  • When a twin pass is purchased all travelers in the party must be present when validating the rail pass.
  • Rail passes must be validated prior to boarding the first train or before using a passholder bonus.
  • The date of travel must be entered into the corresponding box on the rail pass by the traveler before boarding the first train of the day or when utilizing a passholder bonus.
  • Travelers must either carry a passport or U.S. Military I.D. in order to travel with this rail pass.
  • The German Rail Pass Promotion is non refundable.
  • Rail passes are non refundable if lost or stolen except as covered by Rail Protection Plan™.
