Yes, because there is no physical card that needs to be mailed to you, you can purchase the phone card at anytime. - Will I need to pay a shipping charge to receive my phone from ekit?
Possibly, ekit ships phones from their office and can only be shipped within the USA and Canada. Standard shipping of 5-6 business days is included for orders that are shipped in the USA. Orders that are shipped to Canada will cost $21 CAD. Orders sent in the USA can be upgraded to 3 business days shipping for $19 USD or Overnight Priority by 10:30 am for $48 USD. - Are ekit cards refundable?

- Do I need to commit to a contract with ekit?
There are no contracts or agreements. Both services are prepaid, so there are no surprise bills at the end of your trip. You can add additional calling credit at any stage, online or over the phone via self service menu (which is free to access) or 24/7 customer service. - Can I add more minutes to my ekit phone / card while in Europe?
Yes, adding additional minutes to your ekit phone or card is easy. Once you purchase your phone or card you will be emailed a registration page with a special login. You can go to this website with your login information at anytime to add additional minutes. All you need is a valid credit card. - Will my friends and family be charged international calling rates to reach my cell phone in Europe?
No, you will be provided with a toll free phone number from ekit that your friends and family can dial. Once they have dialed the toll free number here in the states they will be prompted to enter your cell phone number. Once your phone number has been entered, the call will be forwarded directly to your cell phone. - Will my phone include an international phone charger?
No, the phone will not come with an international charger but you can add one time of registration for a small fee. - How do I get my call records?
You can view your call records and receipts by signing into your online account. Your records are updated in real time. - Can I use my international cell phone or global phonecard at home or on future trips?
Yes, both services are yours to keep and can be used in the United States (with the exception of the package including the ekit V520 phone) and many countries outside of Europe – perfect for your next trip. - How do I get my international cell phone?
Once you complete your purchase, you will receive an e-mail from Rail Europe with a link to a voucher for each product you have purchased. Follow the instructions on this voucher to enter your delivery details on the web page designated on the voucher. Redeem your voucher immediately to ensure delivery of your phone before you depart on your trip- do not leave it until the last minute. Once you redeem your voucher, your cell phone will be delivered to you.IMPORTANT: You must provide your delivery details on the designated web page; otherwise your phone cannot be delivered.
- Can I buy an ekit phone if I am in Europe already?
No, the ekit phone needs to be purchased before you leave for Europe as you need to allow time for the phone to be delivered.
