  • What constitutes a group?

    Ten or more people traveling together constitutes a group.

  • Can I book group fares online?

    Due to the nature of group inventory, group fares are not available online. To receive a quote from one of our dedicated group consultants, please fill out the quick and easy quote request form for groups on our website.

  • Do you offer discounts on tickets for groups?

    If your group consists of 10 or more passengers, you’ll be entitled to group rate tickets. Please note that for British domestic trains, we can provide a quote for nine travelers. First and second class group rates are available. Simply fill out our quote request form special group offers and a dedicated agent will answer your request.

  • What is the benefit of buying passes through the group department versus the web?

    While group rates on passes match our web prices, booking with the group department will also give your group one pass at 75% off for every 15 people paying. And we’ll help ensure you’re buying the best rail pass for your group, as well as confirm any reservations with your group seated together (if required and/or wanted). An even better deal? You’ll still receive all the applicable pass benefits as shown on our site; discounted rates for Youth and Seniors, and Saver rail pass rates for parties of 2 or more traveling together.

  • How do I get a group quote?

  • Who should I contact to book travel for a group of 10 or more people?

    For groups of 10 or more traveling together call our Group Department at 800-462-2577 or fax us at 888-337-4247. If you know what you’re looking for, you can also request a quote online from our Group Department.

  • Can I customize my group trip (meals on board, train station transfers)?

    We love groups, and we do everything we can to make the experience as pleasurable as possible. We offer onboard catering, motor coach transfers to and from the train station, as well as luggage handling at select stations. For more information fill out our “Get a Quote” tab and a dedicated group consultant will respond to your request.

  • Are there luggage handling services at the station for groups?

    Yes, luggage handling is offered at select train stations in Europe. Please contact our group department for more details.

  • My group lives large. Can we book an exclusive carriage or charter an entire train?

    Whether your group is looking to book an exclusive carriage on a scheduled train for their sole use, or wishing to charter an entire train, we can arrange it. Simply fill in our quote request form and one of our dedicated group consultants will respond with a quote to fit your groups’ needs.
