Overview

The Eurail Select Pass including Austria and Germany lets you span centuries from the comforts of a 21st century rail system. It gives you extensive travel on the national rail networks of Austria and Germany, with your choice of first or second class rail travel for 4, 5, 6, 8 or 10 days within a two-month period. This pass offers saverpass discounts for 2 or more traveling together and you can also decide whether you’d prefer your travel days to be consecutive or non-consecutive.

No matter where you choose to start, you’ll be able to see and goal almost everywhere : from Berlin to Salzburg…from Munich to Vienna, all at your own pace. You’ll go from city-center to city-center without worrying about airline schedules, lines at local ticket counters, or gas prices. You’ll also have access to the S-Bahn (local railways) that operates in the major German cities with the exception of Berlin. In fact, with the stress taken out of your vacation, the only time you’ll be aware of is the centuries you’ll experience as history and culture. Like touring Schonbrunn, Vienna’s Baroque-era palace. Or a stroll past a neoclassical arcade under Austrian skies. Maybe it’s the 18th century Rembrandt paintings in Dresden that will transport you to another time. There’s always Berlin’s Bauhaus, Germany’s modern answer to traditional architecture, to bring you back. How about this for an example of classic values combined with modern function today : the additional travel discounts your Austria-Germany Pass offers on private railways and river trips ?

The Eurail Select Pass including Austria and Germany from Rail Europe. It may have been centuries in the making, but its timing is perfect for you.

"The pass was easy to use and very cost effective. Enjoy lots of freedom during the journey regarding both the route, change of plans and the time schedules. This is the second time I use such passes, and I'll continue to use them if I travel in Europe again. I shall also encourage my friends to use them "

"We have experienced a problem in that the official at a particular station assured us that trains will be available. So it was - but already overcrowded. We hat to wait and in the process missed our flight resulting in a massive additional cost. In another instance, the official worked out a timetable, but did not inform us that where we had to change trains, we will only have 2 minutes, which proved to be impossible. "
