True, some of the trains are engineering marvels that tilt. But everything about the Virgin fleet is designed to keep you standing tall. Let’s start with spacious first class coaches providing plenty of room to work or relax. The Virgin trains cater to the business and vacation traveler in many ways. But they also cater, quite literally, with a broad range of food options. Monday through Fridays you’ll find fresh, seasonal and sustainable food options offered at your seat, already included in the price of your ticket. Everything from hot breakfasts to hot dinners to light bites, depending on your time of travel. And all trains have a quite remarkable onboard shop offering a selection of light snacks and sandwiches, drinks, magazines and more for purchase. On Board Services

Traveling first-class aboard the Virgin train, you’ll find an extraordinary level of service and amenities that include spacious coaches with plenty of room for everyone, quiet zones for the relaxation deprived and special facilities for the disabled. Traveling with your family?  Children ages 3-6  will receive a VKids bag. The bags include books, games, activity sheets, crayons, a fun magazine, and a traveler’s log to record favorite memories of seeing Britain by rail. Available at the onboard shop.

Services at the station

First class travelers can relax at the station before boarding with access to Virgin's First Class lounges found at London Euston, Birmingham International, Birmingham New Street, Coventry, Crewe, Liverpool Lime Street, Manchester Piccadilly, Runcorn, Stoke-on-Trent and Wolverhampton. Unwind with free hot and cold drinks, snacks, weekday newspapers, electronic departure information and complimentary WiFi. And kids activity tables are available in the station waiting rooms.
