Trenitalia International Night

Seating Options

Traveling First Class on the Trenitalia International Night is essentially like having a hotel room on wheels. You’ll get a private compartment that includes fold-down beds for 1 or 2 travelers and a washbasin. The bathroom is separate and located at the entrance of the train car. This functional compartment converts to a private sitting room with a sofa & coffee table for evening and morning use. You’ll relax in a completely air-conditioned and smoke-free environment, and be able to keep your luggage with you. Each First Class car has an attendant who can serve drinks, snacks and a light breakfast. This arrangement is ideal for business travelers or couples traveling together.

Single Compartment

Private sleeping compartment with a wash basin, individual reading lights, and linens.

Double Compartment

Private sleeping compartment for two people with upper-lower berths, a wash basin, individual reading lights, and linens.

Meals & Concessions

On-board you’ll find a restaurant car with pleasing meals, snacks and refreshments. All meals are reasonably priced, and the restaurant serves breakfast as well. In fact, breakfast is included on routes to and from Austria. So you’ll get the fuel needed to hit the ground running.

On Board Services

Every First Class traveler will have a dedicated compartment manager to service their car and insure a fine journey. They will arrange the compartment and bedding for the night upon request. In the morning, they'll cheerfully provide wake-up service and help you find the restaurant car for breakfast.

Services at the station

Except for train platforms, all Italian stations are non-smoking with plentiful shopping, restaurants and information centers. At Vienna Westbahnhof, First Class travelers get free lounge access before and after their trip where they’ll find complimentary drinks, snacks, newspapers and magazines, as well as electric outlets to charge electronics. Vienna Westbahnhof also offers storage lockers for luggage starting at 2€ a day.
