Seating Options
Thello train is designed to induce a good night’s sleep, and keep family and friends together. You can get a private compartment with your own key. By request, attendants will service your compartment, set up beds and provide wake-up service. Attendants will also handle tickets, and customs procedures.
Please note: this seating chart is a representation of a Comfort car. Your actual train may have slight variations in the number of seats, restrooms, or table placements.
Triple (T3) Compartment
Three beds in a compartment, upper-middle-lower on one wall, with a wash basin, individual reading lights, and linens. These are all-male or all-female -unless a party of 3 is traveling together.
Double Compartment
Private sleeping compartment for two people with upper-lower berths, a wash basin, individual reading lights, and linens.
Single Compartment
Private sleeping compartment with a wash basin, individual reading lights, and linens.
Meals & Concessions
When you’re on an overnight train, you rest better with a full belly. For those traveling by sleeping car, two seatings may be offered. The attendant will collect your chosen reservation; otherwise you can simply come to the dining car where you will be seated according to availability. You’ll enjoy a “welcome drink” (which is your choice of orange juice or champagne) and plentiful à la carte choices available for purchase. Prefer less formality? There’s always the bar car for fast, casual service. Pizza, panini and sweet and savory light dishes are the order of the day here, as well as hot and cold beverages. Included in the price of your ticket and served in the dining car - breakfast includes coffee/tea, orange juice, and delights such as croissants and apple compote. Simply show your voucher.
On Board Services
Each compartment includes a washbasin, razor outlet, complimentary toiletry kit, nightly bottle of water, and the comfort of a real bed. By request, attendants will service your compartment, set up beds and provide wake-up service. Attendants will also handle tickets, and customs procedures. By the way, you don’t need to be traveling with anyone to reserve a double compartment. We’ll place you with someone of the same gender.
