Seating Options

Everything about the RENFE train system today is designed to help you appreciate the splendor of Spain’s yesterday through its windows. Not that there isn’t plenty of cosmopolitan views for you, too. Take the interior. It’s crisp and sleek, with every modern amenity including comfortable reclining seats and audio and video entertainment options. There’s generous legroom and plenty of room to roam (after all, it’s not restrictive like an airplane). And lets not forget the bar-buffet car offering a complete selection of food and beverages for purchase.

Meals & Concessions

Food service on a RENFE train is designed to make sure every one of your senses is completely satisfied on the trip. That’s why there’s a buffet car as well as a food trolley serving light food, yummy snacks and sandwiches, available for purchase anytime of day. You could eat in the bright and panoramic setting of the dining car, or take it back to your seat. You'll travel in one of the most comfortable seats imaginable, with your own choice of entertainment options from the at-seat video & audio options, not to mention great views.

On Board Services

RENFE’s assortment of on-board services aimed at improving the quality of your rail journey include audio-visual entertainment options.

Services at the station

Major stations typically offer a variety of shopping and dining options and an information center. Larger stations will most likely have an English-speaking agent if you need help, and some, like Madrid, have dual English/Spanish signage. Many have been updated, with clear directions and various amenities. Check specific station information if you’re interested in a particular service.
