ICE

Seating Options

ICE trains offer contemporary design paired with the highly functional. It starts with seating options include  twin (side by side), Duo Club (2 seats facing each other) or Club Four (four seats facing each other). All of our cars are user friendly, but those traveling with children might want to book our family-friendly cars for maximum comfort. They have changing stations for happy babies, as well as special facilities for the disabled. You can also opt for a silent car where no loud conversation is allowed, or perhaps you’d prefer a cellular-friendly zone with good reception. Second Class seats feature an integrated audio connection with three radio stations featuring classical music/jazz, rock/pop and the children’s channel. So choose to hear as much or as little as you like. But the stress-free trip? That works the same way for everyone. Perfectly.

Meals & Concessions

Inter City Express (ICE) Bar Car

There are a lot of ways to purchase food on board. Like in the European-inspired Bordrestaurant, serving breakfast, à la carte main dishes, snacks and a variety of beverages. It’s more of a traditional sit down, though there’s also the bar/bistro car with standing tables and plenty of room to stretch and chat. You can always take food back to your seat, or if you prefer, have food come to you by way of the snack trolley. Snacks and beverages are also available at your seat in second class. All perfect for those too comfortable, too busy, or just too taken with the scenery to move. Once again, it’s your choice.

On Board Services

ICE is built for traveler comfort, from the relaxing atmosphere to the friendly crew. On-board amenities include seats with audio/radio programming, designated silent zones, and wheelchair & handicapped accommodations. Hungry? Not for long. There’s a Bordbistro/Bordrestaurant serving breakfast, à la carte main dishes, and snacks/beverages, as well as a roving cart with goodies all available for purchase. Snacks and beverages are also offered at your seat in second class.
