ICE

Seating Options

The ICE is uber-modern and cozy at the same time. On-board you’ll find user and family-friendly cars, with special facilities for the disabled and changing stations for families with babies. You can opt for a silent car where no loud conversation is allowed, or find a cellular-friendly zone with good reception. Meals are served at your seat. First Class seats feature individual video screens, an integrated audio connection with three radio stations featuring classical music/jazz, rock/pop and the children’s channel as well as electric sockets for laptops or DVD players.

Inter City Express (ICE) Bar Car

You’ll find all kinds of goodies for purchase on board the ICE.  The European-inspired Bordrestaurant, serves breakfast, à la carte main dishes (German and European regional specialties are often featured), snacks and a variety of beverages. You’ll even find lockers available (at cost) to store your luggage while you’re packing away some nourishment. The restaurant is more of a traditional sit down, though there’s also the bar/bistro car with standing tables and plenty of room to stretch and chat. You can always take food back to your comfortable seat, or if you prefer, have refreshments come to you by way of the snack trolley or cabin crew in first class. ICE Sprinter first-class passengers receive a complimentary small snack and soft drinks at their seats as well. Some come on, have some food with that ICE.
