Wait! Do I need a reservation for my train trip?

Traveling by train in Eastern Europe isn’t just easy, but a great way to see the countryside. Eastern European trains don’t require reservations, but they are recommended when traveling on international trains. And reservations are required when taking an overnight train. (If a train requires a reservation, this will automatically be included with your ticket.) Tickets can be booked 2 to 3 months in advance, while you can start requesting your reservations within 60 days of your travel date.
