Seating Options

The comforts of East Midlands First Class, are, well, first class all the way. With larger, more comfortable seats and individual attached tables. They’re conducive to a perfect journey filled with rest and relaxation, or working your way through a goodly portion of England. Every seat has a number to make navigating the inside of the train as easy as the train makes navigating the outside. And you can find a member of our on-board staff happy to assist you if you need additional help finding your seat or any of the facilities on these well-appointed trains. Meals & Concessions

Weekdays on London routes, there’s an at-seat food service delivered by an onboard staff dedicated to your bliss, and a full range of mouth-watering snacks and light meals to enjoy.

Services at the station

First Class travel has its benefits off the train as well. Like free access to first class lounges at the station, complimentary newspapers and free WiFi in the lounges of Derby, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield and London St Pancras International and free WiFi is also available on the concourses, platforms and public areas at the stations in Alfreton, Boston, Chesterfield, Derby, Hinckley, Long Eaton, Melton Mowbray, Narborough, Sheffield, Skegness and Sleaford.

The Business Lounge at the new East Midlands' Parkway train station is yours to enjoy as well, with regular services that include two fast trains per hour direct to London St Pancras International, taking just 1 hour and 35 minutes.
