Meals & Concessions

Care is given to every aspect of travel on the Deutsche Bahn. And since food is so important to comfort, it is no exception and available for purchase. Restaurant cars on board are modern, sleek and inviting. They are divided in two, half operating as a traditional restaurant (your meal can be delivered to your seat as well), and half operating as a self-service bistro. The bistro is well stocked, with your choice of munchies to eat in a welcoming atmosphere or at your generously proportioned seat with its fold-up table. Some ICE trains have bar cars as well, as perfect for stretching your legs as satisfying your thirst and hunger.

On Board Services

Deutsche Bahn trains offer high-tech amenities such as at-seat audio and video screens, computer notebook and laptop hook-ups. Wireless internet is available for a fee on select ICE routes. You'll also find free newspapers to enjoy.   On certain ICE’s, you’ll find magnificent panoramic lounges at each train end to take advantage of particularly spectacular landscape views. Some trains offer special sections for parents and children to travel undisturbed.
