Seating Options

First Class is everything you’d expect on board the CrossCountry. It has more of everything. More legroom. More table space. And more opportunities to totally disconnect in a large reclining seat cradled in a serene, sophisticated environment. But not to worry. If you don’t want to disconnect, you’ll be just as happy. With power outlets to keep you going or help your devices recharge, and luggage racks at the end of your car so your stuff is never far away. And there’s a restroom at the entrance of the train car as well. Plus you’ll find a dedicated First Class host in your car.

But then, dedicated is the name of the game here. Everything is dedicated to delivering the perfect journey for you.

Meals & Concessions

First Class includes complimentary meals- weekdays only- depending on your route, time and length of travel. There is a selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner alternatives to satisfy any craving, as well as vegetarian options in all cases. Enjoy complimentary drinks like coffee and tea, as well as others along the way. Additional items are available for purchase from your First Class attendant. (Menus do not apply on weekends or bank holidays. Instead, at-seat service includes a complimentary drink & snack.)

On Board Services

On-board services in the CrossCountry Comfort Class are designed to enhance your travel experience. They include a dedicated First Class attendant for your comfort, power outlets for phone and/or laptop, and complimentary newspapers to enjoy at your leisure. All for you, and part of a pampering environment of sophisticated travel.

Services at the station

Your First Class ticket gives you access to the First Class Lounge at Cardiff Central. The lounge has departure/arrival screens, complimentary refreshments and a helpful host. Wi-Fi is available. Other stations will offer information & ticketing counters, a luggage office, waiting areas and shops.
