Sometimes trains require reservations. Does yours?
There’s so much to see in Britain, and so many railways to see it. From London to Northern England’s Settle Line to the East and West Highlands Lines, you can go almost anywhere on British rail. British trains run frequently and do not require advance reservations, though some with trips of two hours or longer will occasionally accept them. You can start requesting available reservations within 60 days of your travel date.
