Seating Options

The Second Class car of the Allegro accommodates 295 travelers. Between Helsinki and St. Petersburg, you’ll find these air-conditioned cars just the ticket for budget-conscious comfort. Every seat has a fold-down table and adjustable backrest, individual lighting, a power outlet, a place for coats, a footrest and storage pockets for newspapers & magazines. A bathroom is located at the entrance of the train car. You’ll have the chance to enjoy the countryside through the windows, rest and plan out your next stop. All before arriving in the center of town relaxed and wondering what made your seat second-class other than the price. We think that’s just the way it should be.

On Board Services

Family-friendly second class features a children’s playroom in one of the cars, as well as a changing table for babies. But make no mistake, it’s just as adult friendly. With power outlets at each seat, complimentary WiFi, a currency exchange (while traveling in Finland) and a specially-trained international crew that's fluent in English, Finnish and Russian.

Services at the Station

Individual stations will vary, but most offer information & ticketing counters, waiting areas, and a Luggage Office or storage lockers so you can enjoy the surrounding shops and restaurants unencumbered.
